• The art piece was launch in NYC to coincide with Trump's inaugeration and was supposed to be a 4 year participatory peformance art piece in which people were encouraged to say "He will not divide us" into a camera that had a live stream that was broadcast over the world


• After Trump supporters and white supremacists began showing up to harass participants the original museum that was hosting the art work shut it down


• The artists then moved the piece to Alburquerque only to shut it down shortly after when gunshots were heard several blocks from where the piece was set up


• After shutting down the Alburquerque live stream, the artists set up the piece to show a flag at an undisclosed location. Trump supporters were able to find the location and put a Make America Great Hat over the flag

• The Foundation for Art and Creative Technology, in Liverpool has now agreed to host the project.


• The new version of the project appears not to be participatory but simply a livestream showing a flag saying "He will not divide us" on top of the museum


• The artists released a statement saying: "Events have shown that America is simply not safe enough for this artwork to exist"

The photographer for the shoot, Nicole Cartolano, says:
“Both girls trusted me to photograph them together as sort of a coming out, but they were nervous how their families would respond and the publicity they’d attract, especially from the Latin American community,” Cartolano said, adding that Jauregui is from Cuba and Vives is from Colombia. “‘Bare With Me’ is a compromise which allowed us to describe what Lauren called ‘love in the 21st century.’ We felt like the way that these photographs are presented are very disarming, sensual, and empowering all at once. And they’re not provocative or with ill intent. ... It was important to use their voices to show the world that this is OK, this is acceptable, in the gentlest way possible.”

Chris Yost (Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok) is writing the script.
Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal are producing the project.

no word yet on who the studio is looking at to get behind the camera.

Silver Sable is a mercenary who runs a company that hunts war criminals. Black Cat is an acrobatic cat burglar whose real name is Felicia Hardy.

From the Press Release:
Crystal Lake Entertainment announces the acquisition of The Elevator Game, which is inspired by the Elisa Lam story and written by horror scribe Nicole Jones-Dion (Stasis, They Found Hell). Crystal Lake’s Sean S. Cunningham will be executive producer on the film to be shot in Los Angeles in September. Jones-Dion will direct from her original screenplay.

Jones-Dion describes The Elevator Game as a unique thriller that has ties to the infamous Elisa Lam story.

The Elevator Game was originated in Korea and Japan and went on to gain worldwide notoriety online when it was blamed for the mysterious death of Lam – a young woman who was found drowned in a sealed water tank on top of the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Synopsis:
Leila had never heard of the Elevator Game until her younger sister, Mandy, went missing. Security camera footage showed Mandy entering an elevator in a decrepit old hotel downtown… and never coming back out.

When the police investigation into Mandy’s disappearance runs cold, Leila takes matters in her own hands. The internet has stories of people disappearing after playing something called “The Elevator Game.” Some think it’s an urban legend, others swear it’s true.

Buried in the darkest corners of the Internet are the rules for one of the world’s most dangerous games. According to the Game, if you enter an elevator and press the buttons in a certain sequence, you will be transported to another dimension in the spirit plane… the Otherworld. There you may be granted your deepest secret desire or you may find death and damnation.

Convinced her sister is trapped in the Otherworld, the only way for Leila to save her lost sister is to play the Elevator Game herself. But the Game comes with a steep price. Some players have lost their lives… others their souls. If Leila isn’t careful, she might lose both.

For those that didn't know what happened, Devin Nunes (R-CA) made two press conferences yesterday afternoon whom revealed that he saw intercepts (not in his possession) with masked names in it. The kicker in regards to this is that the masked names were easily identifiable even though they were masked. He did not report his findings to House Intelligence Committee but reported about it to Paul Ryan and 45. The intercepts were from the time period during the transition for the President-Elect.

The panel calls out CBS's The Talk for not properly pronouncing Jedediah Bila and Sara Haines' names when announcing that The View received Daytime Emmy nominations. The View is up for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts and Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show.
