Two of Boardwalk Empire's Michaels - and their amazing widow's peaks - discuss the tools and techniques of their trade in the opening scene from Seven Psychopaths.

Video is Red Band - NSFW

There are times where I sound a bit like a broken record regarding a new film that's coming out, and that's because I want certain movies to do well. I am far more interested in the art of movies than in the business, but one of the ugly truths about being a film fan is that if you want to see more films like the things you enjoy, those things do well enough that more things like them are produced. It's that basic. And so if I need to, I will occasionally beat the drum repeatedly because I love something.

For example, I sincerely hope Martin McDonagh has a monster hit with "Seven Psychopaths," his new comedy starring Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko, and Tom freakin' Waits. I love the film, and so today I've got two different things for you.

    k54psl_zpsdf5beb8d

First, we've got my final interview from the batch of "Seven Psychopaths" conversations I had during the Toronto Film Festival, and this last one is McDonagh himself, joined by Colin Farrell. Obviously, the two of them worked together previously on "In Bruges," which has built a healthy cult following over the years since it was released, and there is a natural easy chemistry between them that is obvious from the second you sit down to talk to them.

This interview contains clips from the film, also NSFW.

It's one thing to have someone tell you that their film is good, but I think it's safe to say Farrell and McDonagh might be slightly biased. I think it always works best to let the film speak for itself, and so to that end, we have an exclusive clip for you today that is from the opening of the film, and I think it does a nice job of setting up this film's brash sensibility. It's not safe for work, though, and we've got it behind an age gate because it is a strong representation of just how colorful McDonagh's ear (LOL) for dialogue can be.

The first episode of American Horror Story: Asylum is set to air next week. However, production on the second (and significantly shaken up) season of the genre anthology is still very much underway. Today, another big name has been added to the already impressive (and rather large) ensemble. Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Ian McShane will be visiting the titular loony bin, having been cast in a role opposite Jessica Lange’s Sister Jude in the FX series.

Co-creator Ryan Murphy made the announcement on Twitter saying that the cocksucker would be “coming to #AmericanHorrorStory Asylum to tussle with Jessica Lange,” but the 140 character limit really hurt his ability to provide additional details. I’m sure they aren’t intentionally being secretive about McShane’s part in the second half of the season, right? The show has a habit of attracting heavyweight talent, and McShane is only the latest award winning or nominated actor to join the series. Other examples include, Sarah Paulson’s return, James Cromwell’s guest stint, and not to mention Lange who, among her many other accolades, recently won the Emmy for her role in the first season of AHS.

Asylum moves the scares from the modern ‘Haunted House’ setting to an institution for the criminally insane in the mid-60s and follows Lange’s nun as she encounters various horror while whiling working in the building. Like I said, the first episode, “Welcome to Briarcliff,” airs in full next Wednesday, but FX has already shared the first 5 minutes for those who can’t wait to catch a glimpse of the new season.

American Horror Story: Asylum premieres on Wednesday, October 17 at 10 p.m. ET on FX. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, it stars Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe (all returning for the second series in new roles) as well as newcomers Cromwell, Clea Duvall, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Levine, Mark Consuelos and Lizzie Brochere.

Last week Creed‘s Scott Stapp left the internet wide eyed and wondering with his story about the time T.I. came to his rescue after he had tried to jump from his penthouse suite’s balcony.

T.I. called in to VH1′s Big Morning Buzz Live this morning to share his side of the story, and in his telling he explained why he’s kept the heroic act under wraps for so long.

First prefacing that “you got to keep in mind that my life has been rather eventful since 2006,” he took us back to that day at the Delano. He and his crew had just checked in, and they were out on the balcony taking in the view when all of a sudden they noticed a groaning above them.

We heard groans, moans, just sounds coming from the ceiling above the balcony. So we stepped back and looked up and saw there was a dude up there. We didn’t know who he was, he didn’t know who we was, we just kind of exchanged a little dialogue about how he got up there and what all had happened in the hours before.

ne-yo-lady-gagaNe-Yo has taken a swipe at modern day popstars like Lady GaGa, claiming he doesn't believe they will stand the test of time.

The Let Me Love You singer - who was recently named Senior Vice President of A&R at Motown Records - has said that current artists like GaGa have not got what it takes to be musical icons.

Ne-Yo is quoted by The Daily Star as saying: "Who was the last real icon to come out of the music industry?

"Everybody thought it was going to be Lady GaGa, but where is she right now, what's going on with her? "Not to take anything away from her because she's ridiculously talented, but artists who stand the test of time - you just don't see those any more."

He continued: "Motown wants to breathe fresh air into R&B, but Motown was not always cutting-edge, it was soulful but good pop music too. "They were always at the top of the charts in the '60s, and today the lines are getting blurred again with R&B artists doing dance and pop acts doing R&B." The Closer hitmaker added: "I feel now it's just about good music again. Motown needs to stand for quality music, period."

Ne-Yo also hit the headlines this week after he stated that controversial X Factor hopeful Rylan Clark will "sell records", adding: "He's going to come out with that dance record that's going to annoy the hell out of some people but others will love it. "I don't know about featuring on one of his singles but I'd definitely write one for him."

Actress Julianne Moore had more than $127,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her New York City apartment, according to police officials.

The jewelry was swiped from Moore’s Manhattan brownstone between June 6 and Aug. 28, when her residence was being renovated, officials said Wednesday.

During that time, 15 to 25 construction workers had access to the entire house, according to the police report. There have been no arrests.

Seven of the 10 pieces of stolen jewelry were from Cartier, including the most expensive item of all, a $33,000 Cartier platinum diamond tennis bracelet. Four Cartier watches valued at a combined $77,800 were also taken.

Moore’s assistant filed the report to police about the missing jewelry Oct. 1. The “Boogie Nights” actress shares the home with her husband, director Bart Freundlich, and their two children.

New York City’s Buildings Department lists three permits, filed in July, for interior renovation and plumbing work, according to The New York Times.

The brownstone has been on the market twice in the past few years, the newspaper reported. The six-bedroom home was most recently listed for $12.5 million.

Moore, 51, recently won an Emmy for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in the HBO movie, “Game Change.”

  • 10/10/12--20:06: New Django Unchained Trailer

  • Do we realllly need another Django Unchained trailer in our lives? When this is the new trailer, yes, we really do. It's equally lengthy as the first two and slightly more in the epic/serious direction. There's both new footage and alternate shots of the stuff we've seen. We get Leonardo DiCaprio's Tarantinoverse name (Calvin Candie, a nice foil to Christoph Waltz's dentist/bounty hunter), Foxx delivers a new classic QT line ("I'm curious what makes you so curious"), we see our first glimpse of Jonah Hill as a proto-Klansman, plus an always-welcome larger dosage of Samuel L. Jackson. But that tagline, "Let Freedom Ring" — is Tarantino going to treat the abolition of slavery as loosely and trigger-happily as he did World War II in Inglourious Basterds? He isn't, is he?

Dylan O’Brien is that guy that you wanted to be friends with in high school. He’s handsome enough to be part of the popular crowd, but he squirms when you talk about love and sweats when you talk about female body parts (especially Jennifer Aniston’s.)The 20-year-old former YouTube star made his name as Stiles on the hit MTV series Teen Wolf,  and currently stars alongside Britt Robertson and Craig Roberts in the new Jon Kasdan-directed teen comedy, The First TimeHere he is on his first high school love, heartbreak, and his taste in women.

Describe your character Dave in The First Time in three words.
Wow, just three words? That makes it so much harder. He’s sweet, vulnerable and a guy. [Laughs] I love how I led off with sweet, but really, he’s such a dude. Just one of those sweet, sappy dudes.

    Dave’s pretty complex.
Yeah, I would need an essay to describe him. Like, three pages.

The First Time is about a budding romance between two high school students and their first weekend together. Do you remember your first love?
I was in high school, I think. It’s the first time that you start thinking of one of your girl friends as more than just a friend and you just think about her all the time and are obsessed with her and think she’s really pretty and just want to hang out with her always. And then you start trying to process those feelings. That’s literally what the film is all about: trying to understand all those emotions you first have when you have no idea where they’re coming from.

Did you use your first experience as inspiration for the film?
Definitely—that’s how I interpreted the script the first time I read it. It features everything I saw and went through. It got so real.

There are tons of awkward moments throughout the film. Did you experience any awkwardness with your first crush? Did you do anything weird to impress her?
Yeah! One time I stood outside of a girl’s house with a rose in my mouth, like between my teeth. It was obviously a joke and was supposed to look stupid, and it really did. I definitely looked stupid. She just rolled her eyes and laughed.

This film also features the quintessential dream girl. Who was the popular girl in high school?
It was that same girl that I had my first crush on. She was a friend who I was really into, but she never thought of me that way.

You had top-shelf taste in women back then, huh?
Yeah, I guess you can say that she was pretty sought after.

Has she contacted you since high school?
    Yeah, totally. We’re still friends.

    Do you date?
I date, yeah. I’m currently dating one person, consistently. I would say that the peak of my dating streak was junior year in high school, where I took relationships on a four-month level. I always have some kind of thing…

You always have a girl somewhere?
Yeah, I always have some kind of chick in the closet. [Laughs] No, no. What I meant was that I am always in some kind of relationship. I’m one of those guys. Whenever I like a girl, I somehow fall into a relationship with her.

Do you fall in love easily?
    I crush easily.

Have you broken a girl’s heart?
I have no idea! Maybe, but I don’t know because in retrospect they could look back and think, “Okay, it wasn’t that big of a deal.” At a certain point, you realize that those things weren’t as important as you thought they were at the time. It was a silly high school breakup. You shouldn’t take relationships that seriously. Okay, this is getting deep.

Have you had your heart broken?
I don’t know. I’m sure at the time I would have screamed, “My heart is breaking!” But you move on, you grow and you realize that you were only 16.

You used to be a YouTube star. Did you ever explore online dating?
Oh, God no! [Laughs] No way. I’ve peeked around, but never on dating sites.

Have you heard of that webcam chat site, Chatroulette?
Yeah, it’s so weird. It gives me anxiety.

People always think that they’re going to see someone famous.
You never see anybody huge, just huge dicks.

    What’s your favorite body part?
    Legs.

Which celebrity has the best legs?
Oh man, Jennifer Aniston has always had nice legs.

    The woman doesn’t age.
She still looks the same as when she was on Friends. She’s aged very gracefully. Magnificently gracefully.

    Is fitness important to you?
It was at a time. I think I’ve gotten lazy. No, I know I’ve gotten lazy. I think it’s because I have a super fast metabolism anyway, so I won’t get fat if I don’t work out. I used to work out. I get away with just being extraordinarily skinny. Like, I have to work hard not to be skinny. I have to try to put on fat by eating, like, three ice creams a day.

I’m jealous. What’s next for you?
Right now, I’m about to go play a small role in a Fox comedy called The Internship. It’s directed by Shawn Levy and stars Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Rose Byrne. I’m excited to go work on that set—it’s going to be such a good learning experience. And then hopefully I’ll be on Season 3 of Teen Wolf.

    Teen Wolf fangirls are insane.
    They’re so sweet.

Have you been trampled on yet?
[Laughs] Not yet! There are some places where it’s that way and things go a little crazy, but it’s usually not like that. Teen Wolf fans are just really sweet, unassuming and kind of shy. I find that really endearing.

Jack White premiered the new video for his popular cover of “I’m Shakin’” by Little Willie John, an R&B singer from the 1950s and ’60s.

The video, directed by Dori Oskowitz, features White with members of both bands that have backed him on tour for his solo album, “Blunderbuss”: The Peacocks and The Buzzards.

The video plays with the theme of doubles. There are two Jack Whites with two different bands (but two of the same members in each: Olivia Jean of The Black Belles and vocalist Ruby Amanfu, who was also featured in the “Love Interruption” video).

White dons both a powder blue suit and a black one. His band members wear black and blue dresses and suits. In the middle of all the jamming, there’s a couple dancing and trembling.

The video was released on White’s website. For more on Jack White, click here. Follow @barbarachai.

He might have only found fame in the last couple of years, but One Direction's Zayn Malik is already embracing the cult of bizarre celebrity houses.

In a bid to out-do bandmate Harry Styles, who has recently purchased a plush north London pad, the 19-year-old global superstar has splashed his cash on a futuristic house in Hertfordshire.
The new pad might have 5 bedrooms and a large outdoor swimming pool, but the white and chrome new-build looks slightly incongruous in the rural English countryside.

With large, chrome front doors, surrounded by three large windows and a chrome garage door, the house sits back from the road behind a wooden security gate.

While most of the other houses on the street are around the £1m mark, Zayn clearly paid over the average price for the area, splashing £2m on the property. The contemporary style house, which has sharp edges and a flat roof, has four bathrooms, a roof deck, a sun terrace and a separate steam room and jacuzzi.

He might still be a teenager but Zayn has made sure that his new house has an expansive wine cellar and that all the rooms have under-floor heating.

After a summer spent jetting around the world to promote the band's debut album, Zayn is clearly looking forward to spending a little bit of time in his new home with girlfriend Perrie Edwards.

The young West Yorkshire-born singer who's been busy promoting the band's new single Live While We're Young, over the last few days, left it to the delivery men to move house for him.
On Monday a team of removal men turned up at the new property to move in some of the youngster's possessions.

In true celebrity style, Zayn had a whole lorry full of weird and wonderful items.
Whatever interior decor that the popstar is going for, he is going to have to fit in what looks like two life-size figures of himself, which took three men to unload. One figure wears a white suit and a red glove on its right hand while while the other has on a black leather jacket and trilby hat.

The removal men also unloaded Zayn's blue motorcycle form the lorry as a friend in a blue hoodie and grey tracksuit bottoms helped.
