Jolie wrote an op-ed for the New York Times condemning Trump's ban on refugees.


It is simply not true that our borders are overrun or that refugees are admitted to the United States without close scrutiny.

Refugees are in fact subject to the highest level of screening of any category of traveler to the United States. This includes months of interviews, and security checks carried out by the F.B.I., the National Counterterrorism Center, the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department.

Furthermore, only the most vulnerable people are put forward for resettlement in the first place: survivors of torture, and women and children at risk or who might not survive without urgent, specialized medical assistance. I have visited countless camps and cities where hundreds of thousands of refugees are barely surviving and every family has suffered. When the United Nations Refugee Agency identifies those among them who are most in need of protection, we can be sure that they deserve the safety, shelter and fresh start that countries like ours can offer.

And in fact only a minuscule fraction — less than 1 percent — of all refugees in the world are ever resettled in the United States or any other country. There are more than 65 million refugees and displaced people worldwide. Nine out of 10 refugees live in poor and middle-income countries, not in rich Western nations. There are 2.8 million Syrian refugees in Turkey alone. Only about 18,000 Syrians have been resettled in America since 2011.

The concept art was leaked on reddit and was confirmed legit by Watchers on the Wall today.







The art features the Dragonpit set in which almost all the main characters will be meeting at the end of the season.

If you look past the door in the image, you can see two throne like chairs. Those are probably for Dany and Cersei.

Once again the details of what happens in this scene was leaked awhile ago.

A scene involves characters bringing a wight into the Dragonpit as proof of the White Walker threat.

These images give the first look at the location and how the scene will look like onscreen.

Kristen Stewart and model Stella Maxwell went on a date to Knott's Berry Farm, a theme park in California. They were photographed on Sunday holding hands and going on several different rides. The duo both wore black pants, black jackets, and silver necklaces. The next day, they went to a liquor store before heading to LAX. KStew is likely in New York, where she will be hosting SNL this week.

Back in October 2016, women began boycotting Ivanka Trump's clothing line using the hashtag #GrabYourWallet. You can read the original ONTD post here. The protest seems to have worked, causing Nordstrom to cut ties with the brand due to declining sales. Ivanka Trump's brand, which sells women's clothing, shoes, and handbags, was available on Nordstrom's website as recently as Wednesday. However, all items have now disappeared from Nordstrom's website, and is no longer listed on the sites master lists of brands sold.

Jack Falahee is on this month cover of NKD Magazine and here are some excerpts of the interview:

On his character (Connor) in the later half of season 3: “We find out pretty quickly that Connor is harboring a secret about that night,” Jack admits, “We see that secret sort of grow and take hold of him, and it creates a lot of tension between him and the other students.”

On how the cast is feeling with the absence of Alfred (Wes): Alfred is still appearing on the show with flashbacks but with his presences on the set diminished as the cast is feeling the weight of his absences very heavily. “We've all become so incredibly close in a way that I don't really hear about casts getting,” Jack says, “It was really stressful just shooting this season and not knowing who was going to be under the sheet.”

The cast found out week to week what character would survive after it was reveled in the first episode of season 3 that someone would be gone. “Alfie, bless him, handled it with such professionalism and grace,” Jack says, “I don't know if I would have handled it as well.”

On fan favorite couple 'Coliver': Jack believes the writers have done a 'great job of addressing a lot of the issues that Connor and Oliver have gone through without hitting viewers over the head with them'. He also says he receives fan mail with people sharing the coming out stories or what 'Coliver' means to them. “I'm rooting for Coliver to be what's the term they use? End game,” Jack says.

On what kinds of roles he looking for: “It's a conversation I have frequently with fellow actors of mine. What role would I not take and for what reason?” Jack says, “Would I play a pedophile or would I play a racist? And its hard to answer.”
