Wayne Brady to join the Chicago cast of Hamilton

According to Playbill starting January 17th Wayne Brady will be joining the Chicago cast of Hamilton as Aaron Burr as Joshua Henry, who originated the role in Chicago, will be joining the national tour for Hamilton.

Brady has previously starred in productions of Chicago and Kinky Boots on Broadway. He will be in the Chicago production of Hamilton thru April 9th.

Jenna Bush Hager apologizes for 'Hidden Fences' slip up

In case you missed it while interviewing Pharrell last night on the Golden Globes red carpet Jenna Bush Hager (yes one of those Bush twins) accidentally referred to Hidden Figures as Hidden Fences. While appearing as a co-anchor alongside Al Roker and Natalie Morales this morning the former First Daughter apologized for her flub on the air.

"I had an error in the night which I have to apologize for. When I was interviewing the incomparable Pharrell, who I adore, I accidentally in the electricity of red carpet - which I have never done one before - called Hidden Figures Hidden Fences," she stated. "I have seen both movies. I thought they were both brilliant. I interviewed cast from both of the movies and if I offended people I am deeply sorry. It was a mistake because I am," she continued while choking up. "Y'all know I am not perfect. I am authentic but I'm a human and what I didn't want to do was make anybody feel lesser than who they are. So anyway I hope I apologize to both the cast, to Pharrell... but it was a mistake... and I hope we can all move on."

Both Roker and Morales were quick to stand up for their co-host saying that mix ups often happen on live television and were quick to point out that same night Roker forgot the name of Braveheart while interview Mel Gibson and referred to Jessica Biel as Jessica Alba.

"Honest mistakes happen in live television," Roker added. "This culture of Twitter and waiting to pounce to get on people... it's gotta stop... it's just ridiculous."

Roker added that he felt that it was a very cheap move for the NY Times to gang up on Bush Hager and publish several of the tweets that had called her out the night before.

"To act as though I don't care about people really hurt," Bush Hager concluded.

For what it's worth, Pharrell and Octavia Spencer have accepted her apology -

At a reception for Netflix documentary, The White Helmets, Clooney backed up the Hollywood royalty by saying about Drumpf, "Aren’t you supposed to be running the country? I didn’t vote for him, I don’t support him, I don’t think he’s the right choice.

At this moment in our lives we have to hope that he doesn’t destroy everything. The reality is you have to hope he will do a decent job because if the United States fails, really terrible things happen, so you have to hope that he can.”

Then he added: "I don’t see any signs of it."

He also went on to say America was "A little unlucky with Bush." and "I think we’re going to be a little unlucky now."

Bella says she constantly makes posts on Snapchat about her acne since she wants to help kids with acne.

She opened up about her own struggles with acne, saying it's normal to wonder if you're pretty or not.

By partnering with Bioré, Bella hopes to raise awareness and help those who struggle with face dysmorphia.

‘Twin Peaks’ Gets Premiere Date, Episode Count On Showtime

Twin Peaks, the follow-up to David Lynch’s cult ABC series, will debut on Showtime on May 21 at 9 PM with a two-hour premiere. Immediately after the premiere, episodes 3 and 4 will also be made available on Showtime’s digital platform.



The new season will consist of 18 episodes. Lynch filmed the entire season as a movie, with a decision made later how to cut the material into episodes, so the exact episode count had been in flux.
Except for the Episode 3 and 4’s early release, the show will essentially air weekly, because Lynch believes in weekly TV, the series will have a global launch around the world.
The new version of Twin Peaks sees original star Kyle MacLachlan return as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper. It’s “about Agent Dale Cooper’s odyssey to Twin Peaks.” He will be joined by several other cast members from the original series, including Lynch himself in a role as FBI Agent Gordon Cole, as well as several new cast members.
The upcoming 18-episode installment “is designed to be close-ended, one-time event.” but further seasons aren't ruled out.
