"What If" Scenarios include:
- Donnie Yen's blind warrior, Chirrut Îmwe, will face off with Vader," which the actor understands since "neither of [the characters] can really see where they're going."
- Will Jar Jar Binks have a cameo? He flat out denies it and says "I don't think that qualifies as a 'spoiler alert.' It's kind of the opposite of a spoiler – it will probably increase your enjoyment of the film"
- Is Jyn Erso Rey's mother?

I cannot embed the video, so you can see my sarcastic bb at the source. Video is much more entertaining with his facial expressions.

Oscar news: "Moonlight" switches screenplay category, increasing odds of victory.

Moonlight was originally developed as a play, but was handed over to be made into a film before it was finished, let alone produced. As a result, the studio assumed it would have to go into the Original Screenplay category, where it was going up against, among other things, Kenneth Lonergan's script for Manchester by the Sea. However, the Academy has now rejected this classification and said that Moonlight (as well as Loving) belong in the Adapted Screenplay category.

This is very good news for Barry Jenkins, as his film probably has to be considered the frontrunner in that category now, whereas most people thought it was the underdog in Original.

  • Sonequa is set to play the lead.

  • She will play a lieutenant commander.

  • Bryan Fuller, executive producer of the new series, described Sonequa’s character as a “lieutenant commander with caveats. We’ve seen six series from the captain’s point of view,” he explained. “To see a character from a [new] perspective on the starship — one who has different dynamic relationships with a captain, with subordinates, it gave us richer context.”

I'm so happy for her!
