NETFLIX - BLACK MIRROR "Vista" + Why Mackenzie Davis is happy Halt and Catch Fire is ending
Speaking with ETonline she talks about her new movie, Always Shine (posted trailer below), and how she feels that "strong female character" roles can be “just as flat as not-strong female characters because it’s still an undigested version of what a woman feels like.”
As for Halt and Catch Fire and it's final season, she says, “I feel so grateful to AMC for sticking with the show, but I don’t think you need seventy hours of television to tell our story.” and is thankful the characters on the show don't have the opportunity to become unrealistic or repetitive.
Regarding her recent role in Black Mirror's "San Junipero" she says, “That was so thrilling”. In this episode she plays Yorkie, a shy woman who is instantly attracted to the confident and flashy Kelly (played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw), whom she chases through time in order to be with. The episode came at the heels of GLAAD reporting how it's dangerous for lesbian characters on TV. In San Junipero, Yorkie and Kelly eventually find each other and eternal happiness.
Though unaware of the impact of the episode until after it aired, she states, “I’ve learned so much about the episode and the world in which it exists and what it means in the great community since watching. It’s really good to be part of the conversation of a culture I’m not part of and which you need to be invited to. This has been an invitation to hear about concerns that don’t impact me but are concerns that matter to me nonetheless.”
Two friends, both actresses (Halt and Catch Fire’s Mackenzie Davis and Masters of Sex’s Caitlin FitzGerald), leave Los Angeles for Big Sur embarking on a weekend getaway to reconnect. Once alone, however, the two women's suppressed jealousies and deep-seated resentments bubble to the surface, causing them to lose grasp not just of the true nature of their relationship, but also of their own identities.
Always Shine opens in select theaters on November 25th.

Lady Gaga opens up about chronic pain
Earlier this year, Lady Gaga mentioned the chronic pain she suffers from, 10 years after her sexual assault. "I feel physical pain. I suffer from chronic pain and it's from this paralyzing fear that I've experienced for almost 10 years... When something traumatic happens, your brain disconnects so that it can handle it. But it stays in your body, in your tissues, physically in you."
She continued to open up to followers about her challenging chronic pain in a couple new instagram posts.
When my body goes into a spasm one thing I find really helps is infrared sauna. I've invested in one. They come in a large box form as well as a low coffin-like form and even some like electric blankets! You can also look around your community for a infrared sauna parlor or homeopathic center that has one.
I combine this treatment with marley silver emergency blankets (seen in the photo) that trap in the heat and are very cheap, reusable and effective for detox as well as weight loss!
In order to not overheat my system and cause more inflammation i follow this with either a VERY cold bath, ice bath (if u can stand it, it's worth it) or the most environmentally savvy way is to keep many reusable cold packs in the freezer ( or frozen peas' n carrots'!) and pack them around the body in all areas of pain.
Hope this helps some of you, it helps me to keep doing my passion, job and the things I love even on days when I feel like I can't get out of bed. Love you and thank you for all your positive messages."

- Mike Pence (Vice President Elect) was at the November 18 performance of Hamilton and was booed by the crowd. Pence has been heavily criticized for his anti-gay policies. Javier Munoz, who currently plays Alexander Hamilton in the musical, is an openly gay actor and HIV positive.
- Pence was apparently booed when he took his seat. The crowd was partiulalry rowdy during scenes with King George III. They even had to pause the show after the lines "when people say they hate you" and "do you know how hard it is to lead?" The show had to be paused again during the reprise of "You'll Be Back," as the crowd booed Pence at every line
- The show ended with the cast directly addressing Pence, introducing themselves as diverse America and asking him to work on behalf of "all of us."

It seems that every week something comes out to confirm that the broad strokes leak for season 7 was real
-Sansa, Bran, and Arya are going to reunite at Winterfell. It'll be happy at first, but eventually Sansa and Arya will have friction again and butt heads over how to rule. Arya believes in sticking to rigid morals while Sansa believes in being flexible and pragmatic. Littlefinger will take advantage since I guess the two sisters will initially fall into the cliche of poor communication.
-Sansa ain't pregnant and will not become pregnant
-Cersei's Queensguard are getting a costume change
-Jorah goes to Oldtown in search of a cure for greyscale and will meet Sam who helps him after learning he is Jeor's son.
-The big battle against the wights will be filmed next week
-Dickon Tarly has been recast with Tom Hopper. Freddie Stroma, who previously played him in one scene, probably had scheduling conflicts with his ABC time traveling show.

Desiree Akhavan, writer, director, and star of 'Appropriate Behavior' is directing. Script co-written with Cecilia Frugiuele. Ashley Connor ('Tramps') is on board as cinematographer.

Last night Mike Pence went to see Hamilton, he was booed, Trump is upset cause he's a thin-skinned bitch and now he wants the cast to apologize to Mike Pence for giving a speech at the end of the show directed towards him and Trump.

Jeweler to the Stars Caught Up in Manhattan Murder Mystery
After a night of partying in NYC, 26 year old Joey Communale was found dead in New Jersey with multiple stab wounds, burns, and a broken pelvis. As the story has unfolded in the New York tabloids, it appears to be yet another case of rough trade gone wrong.

- Jeffrey Rackover is a celebrity jeweler. His client list includes Oprah, Denzel, and Satan-Elect.
-A couple of years ago, he met James Beaudoin. A twentysomething ex-con from Florida.
-Jeffrey moved James to NYC, got him a job, got him an apartment, and started introducing him around town as his son. James Beaudoin became James Rackover. Jeffrey's neighbors didn't buy it though. They all assumed that the two were lovers.
-On November 12, Joseph Communale was at The Gilded Lily and was invited to an after party at the apartment of James Rackover. Security camera footage shows Joseph entering the apartment in the early morning. 12 hours later, James Rackover called the front desk to request a luggage cart.
-The evidence is still being analyzed, but it looks like the victim was brutally murdered in the apartment (stabbed 15 times). Then James and a friend put the body in a suitcase, drove to the jersey shore, set the body on fire, and buried it in a shallow grave. Both have been charged with murder. Jeffrey Rackover has not yet commented.
