This placement was perhaps the most difficult to decide. It was between Morgan's technicality and restraint and Raven's raw sexuality, but ultimately Morgan won her spot with her technical ability and lip work. While I absolutely still love Raven's sensual rendition of 'Don't Cha' by The Pussycat Dolls on All Stars, I had to choose Morgan because Raven lacks the accuracy and technicality that Morgan does. While she murders high energy songs, Morgan has also shown she can give hilarious performances much like the one below where she impersonates Tabatha Coffey from Tabatha Takes over proving she's extremely versatile.
The performance powerhouse from Season 8, Chi Chi DeVayne secured her spot at number four for the powerful, intense lipsync to 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' from Dream Girls which culminates in one of the most iconic moments in the history of Drag Race where the beads on her dress (which she had gotten from her drag mom and even made sure to repair) break and pour down onto the stage, resulting in beautiful imagery to an already magnificent performance. Chi Chi maintained her composure and powered through it, sending Thorgy home with her powerful energy and accurate lip work. This performance even earned her a personal message from Jennifer Holliday who honored Chi Chi by making her an official Dream Girl.
She also murdered 'Call Me' by Blondie and sent Naysha packing
Despite having some of the more questionable makeup looks on Drag Race, Coco has proved that she possesses the talent and know-how to outshine the inconsistencies in her makeup. Perhaps one of the most memorable performances ever in the history of Drag Race, 'Cold Hearted Snake' proved to be the best performance out of any LSYFL during Season 5. The moment she pointed to her lips so the judges could see her lip accuracy was simply iconic and her performance as a whole completely shattered any chance Alyssa might have had at another chance. I feel bad for any of the queens going against Coco in a lipsync during All Stars 2. Girl knows how to turn a stage out.
Her rendition of 'When I Grow Up' is also quite iconic. Monica never stood a chance against Coco.
There is something so captivating about Latrice when she performs a lipsync. From head to toe, she's simply gorgeous and not only does she give amazing energy during her performances, but she also provides tight lipsyncs. Perhaps the best out of any queen that has ever been on the show. While many cite 'Natural Woman' as her penultimate lipsync on the show, I must humbly disagree and say that her rendition of 'I've Got To Use My Imagination' by Gladys Knight was more powerful and even the best lipsync of Season 4. Maybe even out of the entire series. Her energy perfectly encapsulated the song and her lip work was so on point. Poor Dida never stood a chance against Latrice. You can also watch her iconic 'Natural Woman' lipsync below.
I'm sure many of you will disagree with Trinity being number one, but quite frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. There wasn't one lipsync performance of Trinity's I didn't like and I still maintain that Adore should have gone home for her erratic performance and mediocre look which wasn't even Mortal Kombat inspired in any way shape or form. 'I'm Every Woman' remains one of my favorite performances. Her energy, her movement, her accuracy. It was simply immaculate and her 'Whatta Man' was perhaps the most accurate lipsync in the history of Drag Race. She won out at number because of her tight lipsync. And while Latrice delivered my favorite performance on the show, Trinity is technically more accurate with her lipsync and that is why she is the best lipsyncer out of any queen on the show.
