Another actor has found himself trapped within the asylum walls of season two of "American Horror Story." Blake Sheldon (not Adam Levine's "The Voice" co-star Blake Shelton), has been cast in the upcoming season of FX's hit series.
Sheldon, a newcomer, will appear in the third episode of "American Horror Story" when it premieres this October. According to Dread Central, Sheldon will be tackling not one role, but two - Devon and Cooper.
Devon and Cooper are reported to be around 20-years-old, tall, thin and psychopathic. We can either assume that Devon and Cooper are twins, or is actually one person suffering from multiple personality disorder.
Sheldon's casting comes on the heels of the mini-series announcing that it has had a name change. Season two will have the title, "American Horror Story: Asylum." The "Asylum" part of the title refers to the location of the new season. Previously hosting a story about a family living in a Los Angeles Murder House in modern day, season two will explore an asylum for the criminally insane in Boston in 1964.
The new season is expected to dive deep into sanity and "the real life horrors in 1964," co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed in a statement. For Murphy, the subtitle "Asylum" not only refers to the setting, but "also signifies a place of haven for the unloved and the unwanted."
Returning season one cast members Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson are among the unloved and unwanted for season two.
Blake Sheldon will be joining a string of new names to season two, among them James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Chris Zylka, Mark Consuelos, Chloe Sevigny and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.
Earlier today, Azealia Banks added to her list of Twitter feuds by exchanging words with fellow outspoken Harlem native Jim Jones. The topic of their friction? The correct definition of the term “vamp.”
The dispute started when the young femcee tweeted: “@AZEALIABANKS: VAMP: A very sexually/financially powerful woman who is usually characterized by a penchant for dark things; night, witchcraft, .. Etc.,” causing a follower to reply, “@Rahim_theDream: @AZEALIABANKS but @JimJonesCapo already has a track called “Vamp Life.”
Capo, who’s become synonymous with “Vampire Life,” then added his own two cents to the conversation, tweeting back: “@jimjonescapo: @AZEALIABANKS tht vamplife is contagious.”
This didn’t sit well with Banks, who shot back:
“@AZEALIABANKS: @jimjonescapo yea I know! I wrote 212 in 2011 before ur song tho. That vamp shit is some fashion stuff as well. In case u didn’t know.” Azealia then added more to the fire, “@AZEALIABANKS: @jimjonescapo don’t be tryna take no credit Holmes.”
The aforementioned comments angered veteran Jim Jones, who proceeded to attempt to kick knowledge to the young “212” rapper, tweeting; “@jimjonescapo: @AZEALIABANKS knock it off please learn more about Harlem before u start vampin lol jokes enjoy ur day keep #vampin.”
After reading Capo’s reply, Banks began politely asking him to “go away,” prompting the Diplomat to disobey her requests by responding “@jimjonescapo: @AZEALIABANKS tell ur mother to go away ub2 bit slore.”
As a parting shot, she offered: “lol jim jones said i need to get my shoes and bags together… what kind of straight man worries about a woman’s shoes and bags??? wtf???”
Azealia isn’t any stranger to Twitter beef. Just last week, Banks and Nicki Minaj exchanged words via the social media outlet and before that, she aggressively sent shots at the likes of Lil Kim, T.I., Iggy Azalea and Kreayshawn. However, the fiery rapstress could be changing her ways soon.
“I REALLY have to learn not to respond to everything…” she said after the exchange.
She might have been feeling that way for a while, as evidenced by a recent truce with Kreayshawn.
“@AZEALIABANKS: @KREAYSHAWN I apologize for coming down on you so hard earlier this year,” she tweeted recently. “I can be really defensive sometimes. I’m just naturally rude. LMFAOO it’s a NY thing… I can’t help it.”
Kreayshawn accepted her apology, and now the two plan on working on a collaboration that also includes fellow femcee Angel Haze.—Christian Bonoan
The wedding between Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied reflected not just the bride's Jewish faith and the groom's French nationality, but also the couple's outlook on the world.
Instead of having flowers flown in, the ceremony featured wildflowers indigenous to the Big Sur coast where the ceremony took place, and instead of "fish or steak" the menu was strictly vegan in keeping with the bride's diet.
Portman, 31, chose a traditional white gown from Rodarte, the same house that made the purple dress that Portman wore to the 2010 Oscars, and wore a crown of white wildflowers in her hair. The groom, 35, wore a midnight blue tux.
Eschewing the traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for French macarons.
When things wrapped up around 2 a.m., the approximately 100 guests took home packets of wildflower seeds as party favors. The packets were inscribed with a single word: "Merci."
WWE diva Rosa Mendes told police her fiancé is a habitual woman-beater ... and she's afraid the guy will eventually try to kill her ... this according to a police report obtained by TMZ.
And sources tell TMZ ... the guy Mendes is afraid of is a former WWE talent.
According to the report, the San Antonio Police Dept. found Mendes crying in a bathroom stall at San Antonio International Airport late Sunday night, repeatedly stating that she needed help. Mendes had just flown from her home in Vegas to S.A. for a WWE event.
According to the police report, Mendes -- real name Milena Roucka -- told cops her fiancé had "hit her several times at their shared residence in Las Vegas."
Sources connected to the case tell TMZ ... Rosa's fiancé is Andy Slocum ... a former WWE talent who went by the stage name Jackson Andrews. Slocum was fired by the WWE in 2011 for breach of contract after continually blowing off training sessions.
In the report, cops note Mendes was under the influence of alcohol at the time they made contact with her.
Cops say Mendes told them :"she was afraid [her fiancé] would try and kill her. She also stated the abuse had been an on-going thing."
S.A.P.D. spokesman Officer Matthew Porter tells us Mendes filed a battery report around 10:17 PM. Cops took roughly 30 photos of her body ... which appeared to show bruising and scratches.
A rep for the WWE tells TMZ ... "Milena Roucka contacted a WWE Talent Relations representative this morning to notify WWE that, upon her arrival in San Antonio last evening, she contacted police at the airport to report alleged domestic abuse that occurred just prior to her flight."
The rep adds, "WWE is supportive of Rosa and will provide her with professional assistance."
We reached out to Slocum for comment -- so far, no response.
IMO, Rosa doesn't offer anything to the women's division in WWE, seeing as she's just a valet and manager but this is horrific and I'm glad she got the courage to file a police report and let WWE know of her situation so they can get her the help she needs! I really hope she can find the strength to move on and dump his roid infested ass! Rosa is a gorgeous woman and she deserves better!
Rosa's sexy self thanks you for your time, and is not in favor of woman beaters!
SORRY MODS <3!
Madonna has voiced hope that three feminist Russian rockers on trial for performing a “punk prayer” against Vladimir Putin are released soon.
The pop star told the AP during her concert tour of Russia that she supports freedom of speech and hopes the judge will show leniency…
"I’m against censorship, so I hope that the judge is lenient with them and that they are freed soon."
Two weeks before Putin’s return to the presidency in March’s election, the three members of the Pussy Riot band high-kicked and danced in Moscow’s main cathedral while singing “Virgin Mary, drive Putin away!”
The three were arrested, and have spent five months in custody on charges of hooliganism. They face seven years in prison if convicted.
International rights groups have called them prisoners of conscience.
Madonna told Reuters…
"I am against censorship and throughout my whole career I’ve always promoted freedom of expression, freedom of speech.
So obviously, I think that what happened to them (Pussy Riot) is unfair.
I hope they do not have to serve seven years in jail. That would be a tragedy.
I think art should be political. Historically speaking, art always reflects what’s going on socially. So for me, it’s hard to separate the idea of being an artist and being political."
Furious Elton John claims Madonna comments were “off the record”
Yesterday, we posted an excerpt of the Molly Meldrum interview with Elton John calling Madonna “a cunt and a fucking fairground stripper, whose career was over.”
Today on Radio 3AW’s Breakfast Show, entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Ross and John he had been contacted by Elton John’s publicity team saying…
"Elton John’s PR is claiming that it’s all rubbish and that all the quotes are made up.
[Pete Ford said that the claims had aired on television]
An hour or two later, they came back and said that it was all off-the-record.
Elton John is furious that it was put to air. It was meant to be a private conversation between Elton John and Molly Meldrum.
Elton’s been around long enough to know that if there’s a camera there and someone’s standing behind it with a red light on… It’s still being recorded."
Speaking with 3AW Breakfast, Molly Meldrum said he was taken aback by Elton John’s comments attacking Madonna…
"I love Elton, but when he launched into Madonna I slightly went into shock because Madonna also is a friend of mine. But I have to say that she has been very naughty of late."
Peter Ford said Molly Meldrum had a good enough relationship with Elton John to not do the wrong thing by him…
"Unless you actually specify it’s off the record, then everything is up for grabs."
Peter Ford said he had been asked to give Molly Meldrum’s phone number to Elton’s publicity team, as Elton was demanding he speak with him, but he respectfully declined.

If you’ve been watching the Olympics all weekend, then you probably already know that Grimm‘s season 2 premiere is just around the corner (Aug. 13). And if you take a look at the exclusive first promo below, you’ll see it’s likely going to be gold medal-worthy.
Season 2 of the supernatural drama will pick up right where the first season finale left off — with Det. Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) having a lot of issues to contend with, not the least of which is coming face-to-face with his mother, who, as Monroe puts it, is supposed to be “not-so-alive.”
“I have a lot of enemies, Nick. It was safer for you if I was dead,” she tells him in the clip. (He’s less than willing to accept the excuse, it seems.)
More teases from the cast can be seen in the video below, so watch to learn how Nick’s main lady Juliette is doing after being scratched by a “monster cat,” how Nick’s partner Hank (Russell Hornsby) is dealing with paranoia after seeing his first creature last season, and to see what’s in store for “badass” Nick as he comes into his Grimm-ness.
Josh Stewart is going from playing a figurative monster in The Dark Knight Rises to a literal one on Grimm.
The actor — who’s currently creeping out theatergoers as Bane’s second in command in TDKR — has been tapped to guest star in an episode of NBC’s sophomore spookfest, TVLine has learned exclusively.
He’ll play Bill, a middle-class dude who moonlights as a Badger-esque creature called a Drang-Zorn.
Stewart is probably best known to TV audiences as JJ’s detective hubby Will on Criminal Minds. His other tube credits include Third Watch, Dirt and No Ordinary Family. Stewart will turn up in Episode 7.
Grimm‘s second season premieres Monday, Aug. 13 at 10/9c.
EW & TVLine
I don't suppose I'll see a Grimm tag sometime in the next 5 or 6 days? I'll keep asking anyway.
It’s been — let’s just say —an eventful couple of weeks for Team Twilight. Bella and Edward may find eternal, immortal bliss in Breaking Dawn — Part 2 (out Nov. 16), but costars and (only recently confirmed) couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are having a much harder time since incriminating photographs of Stewart and her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, surfaced late last month.“The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that,” Bill Condon tells EW. “Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”
But beyond the intense media and public scrutiny into these young actors’ private lives, the turn of events also creates a real challenge for Summit, the studio releasing the film, as it gears up to promote the final installment. In other words: what happens during an international press tour and red carpet premiere when the two top-billed stars may or may not be speaking to each other? Nancy Kirkpatrick, the company’s head of worldwide marketing, tells EW, “While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead.”
In more innocent times (read: a month ago), the Twilight stars sat down for a roundtable interview and talked about the film, the ending of the series, and what they’ve learned from the Twilight experience. Pattinson marvels at Edward’s unflappable ability to stay rational. “It’s strange,” he says with a laugh. “All through the series it’s like, ‘Hey , this guy is trying to be sensible! Let’s think this thing out.’ And everyone is like ‘F— you’”.
Stewart presses him, curious to know what he learned from playing the role. ”Don’t be pragmatic. Be an emotional idiot.”
Ngl, this is sad :(
Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are demanding more money to appear in the Hunger Games sequel, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The pair are suffering with pay envy after learning that their blonde bombshell co-star Jennifer Lawrence, 21, is signed on to earn $10 million for the second movie in the series, Catching Fire – a significant pay hike from the $500k she received for the first film.
And the two male leads are even threatening to walk if the movie studio doesn’t give them what they want.
“When stars are negotiating their contracts, these things can happen and stars will try and bump up their salaries,” a source said.
“Liam and Josh got wind of Jennifer’s significant pay raise and they want more money to appear in the second movie of the tetralogy. They’re not demanding as much as Jennifer, they’re aware she plays a bigger role in the films, but they want a little more than the $2 million they were each offered.
“With the success of the first movie, they feel that $5 million is a more suitable fee and are haggling with the studio before dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s on their deals.
“And they have even said they may not return for the sequel, which they hope will be a bargaining chip for a bigger pay packet,” the source revealed.
As the Hollywood Reporter reported, Lawrence is currently negotiating her $10 million paycheck for the movies’ next installment. That figure will include salary, bonuses and escalators.
It’s a significant pay increase for the rising starlet who earned $500k for The Hunger Games, plus bonuses from the film’s box office earnings of $683.8 million.
Catching Fire is set to begin filming in Atlanta next month, then will move to Hawaii in early November. The sci-fi epic will debut in movie theaters on November 22, 2013.
NATHAN ADRIAN IS THE OLYMPIC CRUSH AMERICAN NEEDS
Perhaps you haven't yet heard of Nathan Adrian, 23, the U.S. swimmer who won the 100-meter freestyle Wednesday, adding a gold medal to his silver for the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay in 2012, and setting a world record at 47.52 seconds. (This is his second gold, his first being as part of the relay team at Beijing in 2008.) He's been a bit overshadowed by team members Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, but we think it's time he's given the attention he deserves, even as we hate to share him. Why to we love him so? Let us count the ways.
He is adorable. Um, have you seen his Twitter avatar? Even for those of us bigger than such superficial things, that is some pretty freaking jaw-dropping anatomical perfection. And the thing is, in the Olympics, this matters! We're all about these "gods" we've sent to compete on the Mount Olympus of London being, well, attractive, too. We're not being shallow, we're just being honest. Anyway, Adrian is one of the taller on the swim team, 6'6" according to the Team USA website, and 220 pounds. (Phelps is 6'4" and 185 pounds, and Lochte is 6'2" and 185 as well.) In the parlance of many a Northeastern girl, Adrian is tall, tall like he hails from Washington state, which he does. And look at those teeth, and that hair, and that smile! He's like a less vampire-y Edward Cullen.
He is charming. It was years ago, yes, but we all saw Phelps with the stripper in Vegas, right? And Adrian seems particularly homegrown and sweet in contrast to Floridian Ryan Lochte, who has a tendency to say the worst things —women are evil, really?—and let's just not even talk about the fashions or the general "aura" of "Jeah" coming off of him. (His own mother says he only goes on "one night stands.") Of course, maybe Lochte was set up to fail, what with all the pre-Games hype about him as the new golden boy. Fine, fine, let's not judge, let's only note that Adrian does not sport a grill or, apparently, say ridiculous things about women. And when he did win the gold, he appeared completely shocked and humble and thrilled about it. In further comparison, to Phelps, there's an innocence and newness about Adrian's reaction that we crave in our Olympic athletes. Via the A.P., upon his win, "Adrian pounded the water, then put his hands over his eyes while dangling over the lane rope, as if he couldn't believe the '1' beside his name." While of course we admire Phelps, at this point he simply has too many golds for us—or him—to really work up much excitement about another one. Yes, we want our Olympians to win. But we want them to feel the awe and amazement we feel when they do, too.
Don't just take it from us. The Twitterverse agrees that Adrian's reaction to his world record win was graceful, sweet, and even a tad bit adorably awkward, maybe. This is the Olympian who can't even believe he quite deserves it, who's surprised to have seen himself get so far.
The awkward and adorable way that Nathan Adrian reacted to his gold medal just stole my heart #ILoveAwkwardBoys
— AverageGirlProblems (@AverageGirlPrbs) August 2, 2012
He is young. Heartbreakingly, he was born in the all-to-recent year of 1988. But his being young is good, because it means we'll get to see him again, most likely. He's only 23, in four years he'll be the same age that that old man Phelps is this year.
He is good at social media! Social media means we have an insight into Adrian's life, and what we see, we like. He describes himself on Twitter as a "Swimmer, Olympian, Child at heart, and I don't care if you think it is gross to brush my teeth in the shower!" He appears to have a great relationship, maybe even a bit of a bro-mance, going on with his Olympic roommate, swimmer and gold medalist Matt Grevers. Matt made Adrian's bed for him when Adrian won the gold, which we then get to see in a photo tweeted out. Look at that adorable comforter, and the place he rests his Olympic head! Adrian also gets this issue we have with spoilers and, in another tweet, acknowledges our concern. And even when he humblebrags, Instagramming his medals and tweeting "Matt and I are doing alright so far!! #notbadforourtinyroom" we can't help but commend him for his hashtag use.
He is smart. He graduated with honors with a degree in public health from UC Berkeley. And he wants to be—swoon—a doctor. And he's grounded, too. Via USA Today, after his win: "'My life may change now,' Adrian acknowledged. 'I'm just taking it all in for what it is.'"
He is not perfect. He is messy, according to the looks of his room! Our nurturing Olympic-sized hearts are O.K. with that.
He represents diversity. His mother, Cecilia, is Chinese and was born and raised in Hong Kong.
— Nathan Adrian (@Nathangadrian) July 31, 2012
He seems like he'd be fun to have a drink with. Watch this video of him laughing as he flies a remote-controlled helicopter around a room and show me the man or woman who would say no to a beer with this guy
hahaha he's so nhf him slapping his boobs
Bless this man

Look out people the original simulation game is back after a 10 year absence. With new graphics that are eye popping and a revamped stats screen, you can please your Sims to their hearts content or oppress them with giant monster attacks. Yes those classics are still there, just much better looking.
BTS feature explaining the new version.
Really looking forward to this, the only thing I don't like is the internet connection needed to play, whether your multiplayer or single. The game is suppose to come out February 2013.
Although she has won two gold medals, Gabby Douglas is making headlines for more than her Olympic victories in London -- with some critics slamming the 16-year-old's hair for its appearance and supposed failure to "represent" the African American community.
Douglas' mother, Natalie Hawkins, quickly slipped into mama bear mode to defend her daughter -- and her spunky ponytail.
"How ignorant is it of people to comment on her hair and she still has more competitions to go?" Hawkins fumed to Fashionista.com on Monday. "Are you TRYING to ruin her self confidence?"
Douglas' chemically-straightened hair, pulled into a ponytail with barrettes and gel, matches the coifs of her four Caucasian "Fab Five" teammates Aly Raisman, Mckayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber. Since gymnastics involves flying through the air, strands are bound to fall out of place. But it's not just the style that is under fire -- it's the fact that the 4-foot-11 teen is an African American rocking straightened -- not natural -- hair.
"It's really been African American women that have come out and attacked her," claimed Hawkins of the tweeters who criticized Douglas. "They don't know about gymnastics. She has to keep her hair in a ponytail 28 to 30 hours a week. We grew her hair out because she preferred long hair."
"I'm not going to make her cut her hair just to please someone else," Hawkins added of women who want to see Douglas with unprocessed hair in the form of braids, an afro or kinky curls.
Together, Douglas and her mom are approaching the hair controversy with a sense of humor. "She said, 'Really?! I won two gold medals and made history and my hair is trending?' So we laughed about it," Hawkins recounted.
Hawkins isn't the only woman rushing to her daughter's defense. Actress Gabrielle Union shared her thoughts via Twitter.
"Gabrielle Douglas is a winner I am proud of her. She is beautiful exactly the way she is. She's #Gabulous. #byehaters," Union, 39, posted on Sunday days after Douglas took home the gold for the Women's All-Around finals, becoming the first African-American woman ever to accomplish the feat. "Anyone who insults a TEEN who's accomplished so much while displaying grace and dignity is beyond lame and should be ashamed of themselves. #byehaters."
The mother of women's gymnastics all-around champion Gabrielle Douglas has blamed her daughter's white host family for failing to correctly care for her hair.
Natalie Hawkins, the 16-year-old Flying Squirrel's proud mother who does not live with her daughter, told Fashionista.com that Missy Parton and her family from Iowa 'don't know anything about taking care of her hair'.
Miss Douglas moved to their home in order to train with the elite gymnastics coach Liang Chow. It was a move fully supported by Ms Hawkins.
She added: 'She [Gabby] lives with a white host family... and there's no black salons in their area [Iowa - not one. We had to work really hard to find a stylist to come and do her hair.'
Carly Rae Jepsen is omnipresent on TV and radio this year and has been sitting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks, but this year's breakout star has only just announced the release of her debut U.S. album.
The upcoming record, titled "Kiss," album will drop Sept. 18 on 604 Records/Schoolboy Records/Interscope Records. Its release will give fans just enough time to absorb the new songs before Jepsen kicks off her tour with Justin Bieber in Arizona on Sept. 29.
"These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the years," Jepsen said of "Kiss" in a statement. "The record is pop. It's inspired by Robyn, the Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor. I can't wait to share it with everyone!"
The 26-year-old pop star has been dropping hints about the album's name on Twitter all weekend, tweeting photos of her band blowing kisses and the famous kiss from "Spiderman," then finally asking fans to tell her about their first "KISS."
Jepsen's hit single, "Call Me Maybe," has already sold 4.9 million downloads in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. The track, which was released on her "Curiosity" EP and gained notoriety with Justin Bieber's support earlier this year, is the third-biggest selling song of the year. It was in its eighth straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week, tying it with Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" as 2012's longest-running No. 1.
On her new album, Jepsen worked with Max Martin, Dallas Austin, LMFAO's Redfoo, Toby Gad, Marianas Trench singer Josh Ramsay and Matthew Koma. She also recently collaborated with Owl City "Good Time," which climbed 23-13 on the Hot 100 last week.
"I can't tell you how lucky I feel to be able to collaborate with some of my dream producers. It has been the most fulfilling experience," she said.
In anticipation of the album's release next month, Jepsen will be performing on a slew of TV shows, including NBC's "Today," "America's Got Talent," "The Tonight Show" and "Conan."

Shedding a tear over the news Michael Phelps is settling down with girlfriend Megan Rossee?
Well, dry your eyes, because the sexy and single Ryan Lochte revealed some exciting news to E! while hanging at the Speedo party red carpet in London Monday night: He indeed wants a girlfriend.
Ladies, get in line.
"Yeah, I mean I definitely want a relationship. I want to give a certain someone my heart," Lochte dished to E! News before adding, "I mean, I just gotta find the right girl."
So what's the right stuff for Ryan's perfect gal? Well, we know his ladylove must be fit, has to make him laugh and, of course, must be totally averse to one-night-stands (thanks for clearing up mama's comments, Ry!).
And while we're sure the swimming stud already has lots of ladies in line, he'll be finishing up his time in London by hanging out with his family.
"I'm just gonna celebrate and hang out with my family. They are here until after I leave and I haven't yet gone sightseeing so I really want to do that," Lochte said. "I want to ride the double-decker buses and I want to get a tour of the city. I've been wanting to do that forever now."
After earning five medals at the London Games, we'll certainly agree that the dude deserves a little downtime, but don't think he'll stop going for the gold anytime soon:
"Yes. I'm definitely going another four years. You can count on me being in Rio, and you know what? If I'm still having fun in the sport then I'm gonna go for another four years."
No complaints here! Is it too soon to get #RyaninRio trending?!
