Burt Reynolds on The Golden Girls, 1986

After mistakenly getting arrested for prostitution, because this was an ’80s sitcom after all, the girls get a surprise visit from Burt Reynolds, whose concert they missed while in the clink the previous evening.

George Clooney on The Golden Girls, 1987

Holy high hair, Batman! (Because remember the time he was Batman too?) Clooney put in lots of quality time on ’80s shows, and he spent this turn on The Golden Girls as a rookie undercover cop using the girls’ house as a base. Blanche really didn’t mind.

Mario Lopez on The Golden Girls, 1987

Pre-Saved by the Bell, Mario played a struggling immigrant student whom Dorothy took under her pastel-clad wing. Of course she helped him; who could resist those dimples?

Jenny Lewis on The Golden Girls, 1987

Future Rilo Kiley frontwoman and Brooklyn Bridge star Jenny Lewis played Daisy, an evil little Sunshine Cadet who refused to give Rose her teddy bear back after Blanche accidentally sold it. Rose eventually outsmarted her. Eventually

Quentin Tarantino on The Golden Girls, 1988

You can have your Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction; I prefer my Quentin Tarantino as a back-row Elvis impersonator at Sophia’s wedding.

Bob Hope on The Golden Girls, 1989

Showbiz legend Bob Hope steals a kiss from Rue McClanahan during a cameo as Rose’s surrogate father (it’s complicated… go watch Oxygen) in this 1989 episode. Again, Blanche didn’t mind.

Julio Iglesias on The Golden Girls, 1989

While the girls were sharing memories around the table with cheesecake (so, a typical day), Sophia hit the Valentine’s Day jackpot by snagging the smoldering Julio Iglesias as her date for the evening. Blanche did mind this time.

Dick Van Dyke on The Golden Girls, 1989

Television behemoth Dick Van Dyke played Dorothy’s lawyer-turned-clown boyfriend, saving some dolphins while wearing giant shoes in court and securing prime-time TV’s most powerful super-couple.

Sonny Bono on The Golden Girls, 1990

In a glorious dream sequence, Dorothy has to decide between Lyle Waggoner and Sonny Bono (IMDB, kids). Of course, Sonny’s cameo is nothing compared to Sophia and Dorothy’s stirring rendition of “I Got You Babe.”

Debbie Reynolds on The Golden Girls, 1991

The new fourth roommate? Debbie Reynolds guests as Truby Steele, who almost became Dorothy’s replacement in the house, had she remarried Stan. Luckily, she went back to slamming the door in his face.

Fred Willard on The Golden Girls, 1991

Blanche has a way with men, but even she didn’t do much for the ex-priest played by Christopher Guest favorite and master of awkward situations Fred Willard.

Ryan Lochte; On Air With Ryan Seacrest
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Ryan Lochte finished his run at the 2012 Olympics just in time. Today he turns 28-years-old and the birthday boy called in to “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” Friday to talk rivalry, Rio and whether Olympic athletes really do pee in the pool.

Do Any Of The Athletes Pee In The Pool?
“Of course. I think there’s just something about getting into chlorine water that you just automatically go. [I didn't] during the races, but I sure did in warm-up.”

On This Year’s Competition:
“I am relieved. These past fours years have been really, really hard and you know what? It’s over for me, so I’m definitely excited and happy that I get to finally take a deep breath. Michael Phelps is one of the hardest competitors I have ever had to go up against and you know what? He’s a good friend. Win or lose we’re still going to be friends and we both want to win and sometimes you do and sometimes you don’t.”

“Our rivalry that we’ve created has gotten so big, especially in the last couple years, and we push each other because we both want to do incredible things for this sport. He knows that I’m training really hard back home and I know that he’s training, so that’s what pushes us everyday when we go to practice.”

What Are You Going To Do Now That It’s All Over?
“Honestly, I can’t really do anything until swimming’s over with. We have this code of conduct that we all sign, the whole team, and we have to obey by it. We really still have a curfew and everything, so there is no partying just yet.”

On Moving To Los Angeles:
“Oh yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to that. Me and my buddy, we’re still looking. We’re gonna get probably a condo or a penthouse of some sort for the first six months and then see if we really like it out there. We’re still gonna be training for 2016, but the reason why I’m heading out there is I want to start pursing my real dream of designing my own clothing line”

I guess I just have a good eye for it. I have a very creative mind and the things that pop up in my head I kind of just put on paper or put on a shirt or shoes or anything. I’m definitely going until 2016. The longest break I’ve had in the past eight years has been a week long, so I’m definitely taking probably a good solid month and I’m not even gonna look at the water, unless if it’s at the beach. I’m planning on being over there around November-ish, when everything settles down.”

YESSSSSS I WILL WELCOME YOU TO LA WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN!!!!

Justin Bieber chided by aboriginal group for free gas comment

Justin Bieber? If you’re reading this, the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples would like you to give them a call.

In late July, a profile of Mr. Bieber in Rolling Stone magazine’s August issue went viral. It wasn’t Mr. Bieber’s bewitching bedroom eyes on the cover that set the Internet abuzz (it’s fine, he’s legal now), but an aside he made to writer Josh Eells:

“I’m actually part Indian,” he said. “I think Inuit or something? I’m enough per cent that in Canada I can get free gas.”

Concerned Mr. Bieber’s misconception could spread to millions of his impressionable fans, the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples issued a statement on Friday to make clear that no, Aboriginal people do not get free gas.

“We have enough issues with racism and stereotyping,” said Dwight Dorey, the congress’s national vice-chief. “A young, high-profile entertainer like Justin has a huge following. He has a major impact on young people. That concerns me.”

He also wasn’t thrilled Mr. Bieber used the word “Indian.”

“That’s a term that our people in Canada have been moving away from for years,” he explained, and said the 18-year-old singer is “now at an age to be responsible for statements such as this.”

But the congress hasn’t written Mr. Bieber off for believing that aboriginal people enjoy this non-existent perk. In fact, it hopes Mr. Bieber gets in touch.

“He indicated some interest in the fact that he has some aboriginal ancestry or thinks he has, and we could assist in tracing his ancestry to determine that,” Mr. Dorey said.

Mr. Bieber’s publicist could not be reached to determine whether Mr. Bieber is, in fact, part aboriginal. Or if he gets free gas when he’s in Canada.

While the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples has extended the olive branch to Mr. Bieber, other aboriginal leaders weren’t quite so forgiving.

Edward John, the Grand Chief of the Tl'azt'en Nation in B.C., expressed frustration on Twitter over the free-gas comment:

“Rolling Stone- ‘Bieber free gas’! tell us where there is free gas! It's just wrong and he should correct it!” he tweeted on July 25, along with a mobile photo of the magazine’s controversial passage.

Ellen Gabriel, who ran for chief of the Assembly of First Nations, chastised Mr. Bieber directly on Twitter as well: “@justinbieber When r u going 2 Apologize 2 Aboriginal ppls n Canada 4 disrespectful comment re: “Free Gas” U R promoting racist stereotypes,” she wrote on July 28.

Mr. Bieber’s ignorance aside, the questions remain of where or why he could get free – or even discounted – gas.

First Nations people in Ontario are exempt from the provincial gas tax of 14.7 cents per litre if they have a gas card (issued by the Ministry of Finance) – but that’s only if they’re buying gas on a reserve. A remote possibility for Mr. Bieber, who drives a chrome-coloured Fisker Karma sports car and hails from Stratford, Ont., and whose father at one time lived in Winnipeg.

'Mortal Instruments' Takes The Vow With Silent Brother Jeremiah

The latest casting announcement from the big-screen adaptation of Cassandra Clare's "Mortal Instruments" novel "City of Bones" may just send a shiver down your spine. Meet Brother Jeremiah, otherwise known as actor Stephen R. Hart.

Brother Jeremiah is part of an elite group of Shadowhunters known as the Silent Brothers, who have abandoned their warrior ways to become archivists in the Silent City. But don't let that description fool you —they're much more badass than your local librarian. To wit, their bodies are littered with powerful runes, which leave them disfigured: they have no eyes, their lips are essentially stitched shut and they're bald. They do not speak but communicate via telepathy and are said to be able to destroy one's mind. Thankfully, the Silent Brothers are usually ensconced in heavy robes, so their frightening countenances aren't on full display.

Stephen brings with him a resume chock-full of creepy roles (see: "Killer," "Giant Goth Guy," "Featured City Hall Undead #5," "Inmate 2") in films like "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," "Silent Hill" and "Max Payne." He joins a large cast which already includes Lily Collins as Clary, Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace, Jemima West as Isabelle, Robert Sheehan as Simon, Godfrey Gao as Magnus, Lena Headey as Jocelyn, Jared Harris as Hodge, Kevin Zegers as Alec, CCH Pounder as Madame Dorothea, Aidan Turner as Luke, and Kevin Durand and Robert Maillet as Valentine's henchmen.

"City of Bones," which is due out August 2013, begins filming later this month.

What do you think about the latest addition to "The Mortal Instruments" cast? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter!

Watch EXCLUSIVE Book Trailer For Jessica Khoury's 'Origin'

There's been no missing out on the amazing buzz for Jessica Khoury's new novel, "Origin"—the story of a flawless teenage girl born in a lab, bred for immortality, and kept safe and secret from the outside world—has already been optioned for film and become one of the most-anticipated books to hit shelves this fall. But with another month to go before you can get your hands on the story (and GAH, who knows how long before the movie gets made?!), wouldn't it be nice to watch an EXCLUSIVE trailer that teases just what kind of awesome sci-fi sexiness is in store come the book's release September? Well, hey, guess what we've got!

This fascinating trailer introduces us to Pia, living in guarded isolation behind a glass wall, the very first member of a genetically engineered race of immortal humans. But despite having a pretty posh life in her private terrarium—including exclusive access to a really great pool and all the (intermittently censored) books she could ever want to read—Pia can't help feeling that something is missing...and that something, of course, is a scorchingly attractive teenage boy who stumbles up against her glass house without his shirt on. And, um, yeah; under the circumstances, we would have thrown a chair through the window too.

"Origin" follows Pia as she escapes her prison and flees into the thick of civilization with Eio, the only boy she's ever met, as they race against time to learn the truth about where she came from. And if you're dying to get your hands on it...well, yeah, so are we, but we've gotta wait until next September 4. So in the meantime, let's all just feast our eyes on the sweaty young man with a delightful resemblance to Joe Manganiello and try to be patient, shall we?

Hugh Jackman sports bedraggled hair on Wolverine set...before stripping down

In his role as mutant wolf man Wolverine it's fair to say Hugh Jackman has to take on a number of different guises. And as he set to work filming the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine in Sydney, Australia, it would seem actor's look is set to change on a daily basis. Although he was initially unrecognisable as he sported a bigger beard than ever and bedraggled hair, the hunky star soon stripped off to reveal the muscular physique we all know and love.

With his buff physique originally swamped by his costume, which consisted of a scruffy khaki jacket, grey hooded top, jeans and aviator sunglasses, it was hard to believe the Australian actor was once voted the sexiest man alive. In addition to his extreme facial fuzz, the 43-year-old hunk's usually well-groomed locks were teased into a matted mess.

The film will be directed by James Mangold, best-known for directing the 2005 film Walk The Line, and is scheduled for release in summer 2013.

Artwork: Kreayshawn "Something 'Bout Kreay"

Happy Friday! Kreayshawn has jumped the mother fucking shark. She's unveiled the monstrosity/delight that is the artwork for her upcoming debut album Somethin' Bout Kreay, above. Yep, that's her in a silk turban with green face tattoos, surrounded by animated, slithery, one-eyeballed creatures. And she looks really sad. IDK! Maybe we just need a couple of years to get on this level.

"I wanted an album cover that would really help to represent me and who I am," Kreayshawn said of the art, in a statement. "Something that, when people first see it, they'll say, 'only Kreayshawn could think of a cover like that.'" In the words of one 2 Chainz: Tru.

The release date for the album has been pushed back as well-- it'll be out on September 18, not August 14.

Guy spends two years building amazing life-size, working WALL-E

0
0

Ever since he first rolled into our lives back in 2008, we've loved WALL-E, the lovable trash compactor robot at the heart of the Pixar film of the same name. He's cute, he's loving, he's brave, and he's just plain neat. Too bad he's only a cartoon, right? Well, not anymore.

Mike Senna, a California robotics enthusiast, was best known up until a little while ago for building a life-sized, working R2-D2. It started out as a hobby, then became something more when Mike began taking R2 to events for City of Hope, a pediatric cancer charity. After a while, it became apparent that it would be even more fun if he built a character with "more emotion," and Senna began work on WALL-E.

As tough as building R2 must have been, building WALL-E was tougher. After all, someone's already built an R2-D2, but until now WALL-E only existed in a computer. There were no schematics, no pre-existing parts, nothing. Senna had to watch the movie over and over again to get all the movements right, develop the robotic elements himself, and then put it all together. He spent at least 25 hours a week working on it (he also has a job), and estimates that it probably took anywhere between 3,200 and 3,800 hours to finish the project. Oh, and he paid for all of it himself.

His reward? The look on kids' faces when he shows them a real working WALL-E that can wave, look at them and even say his name. Check out the video to see the heart-melting interactions between the robot and children, and marvel at the ridiculous level of detail Senna put into this little guy. For even more fun and photos, you can also visit Senna's blog.

If the video isn't working you can watch it here: http://omg.yahoo.com/yo-show/wall-e-comes-to-life-thanks-to-dedicated-robot-builder-30157565.html

Right after the movie came out a bakery near me created an amazing WALL-E cake and every year I send my family the photo reminding them that I would not mind it for my birthday. They have not come through yet but I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!

The Dark Knight Rises: Top Five Movie Mistakes

SPOILER ALERT

The Stadium Scene

According to one viewer, the play clock at the Gotham Rogues game is moving throughout the terrorist attack (no great surprise, right? I mean, who would take the time to turn it off?)–but very slowly. ”During the stadium scene, the clock shows 15:00, then, just before Bane kills the doctor, you can see the clock in the background show 14:44,” claims one user.

But that’s not the only complaint people had with the scene, with the “packed” stadium appearing empty in certain shots, particularly some solo shots of Bane, where empty seats can be seen behind him. Might this have been a case where there just wasn’t the time or money to fill up the stands behind him a second time during reshoots?

Where was Miranda Tate?

This one plays into one of the big complaints I’ve heard from people who didn’t like the movie–that Miranda Tate’s actions and whereabouts leading up to the big reveal that she’s actually Talia al Ghul made less and less sense throughout the first act.

Says one user, “After Scarecrow exacts punishment on Gordon and crew, Miranda Tate is taken by Bane. The next shot she is with Fox when Bruce Wayne is brought in and Catwoman fights off a couple of the mercenaries. At the end she is held captive once again with Bane.”

That’s the same problem that a friend and fellow comics writer had when he discussed the film with me on Facebook just after its release. According to him:

When Gordon and Miranda Tate are trying to find the bomb, they are captured by Bane’s men, and taken to Scarecrow’s kangaroo court. They are sentenced to death, and Bane says, “Bring the woman to me,” and Miranda Tate is taken by Bane’s goons. Immediately afterwards, Wayne re-enters the city, and goes to Wayne Enterprises, where he meets with Lucius Fox and… Miranda Tate. Then, later, when he rescues Gordon on the ice, he says, “Where’s Miranda Tate?” even though he just saw her, and Gordon answers, “She’s with Bane,” which Batman doesn’t even question.

So, either there was some dumb editing that put her at Wayne Enterprises when she should have been with Bane, or she came and went from Bane’s custody, and Batman couldn’t put it together. Either way, terrible storytelling.

There’s more, but far be it from me to take away his story idea in case he wants to use it. In any case, I wasn’t put off by the sequence of events in revolving around Talia, but I think it may be a question of a minor continuity issue that seems bigger if you’re already not impressed. His rating of the film was 6 out of 10 while mine was 9 out of 10, so even if we both noticed the same continuity issues, it’s likely they would have bothered him more.

Is John Blake Superman?

There does seem to be some weird invulnerability happening to John Blake and the people immediately around them, we’ll give you that. There are two separate items that seem to question what’s going on around Blake at different times in the story, both of which revolve around this notion that things seem to go mysteriously, randomly well for Blake.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt commandeers a car to rescue Commissioner Gordon, he drives through exploding streets, falling debris and smoke, but when he arrives at the hospital the car’s exterior appears in pristine condition. Looks like he stopped to have the car detailed between shots.
When officer Blake faces the cops on the bridge and forces them to shoot at his feet to scare him off, the ricochet line to the fired shots would all have pointed to the orphans standing behind officer Blake.

Sure, these are both grasping at straws and they’re really minor issues–but it’s interesting that when you put them together they paint a picture of a character who may have been a little bit of a Mary Sue for Nolan.

The Ticking Clock Doesn’t Tick

…Or maybe just that it doesn’t track. According to one poster, there’s a point in the film where the characters reference having only eleven minutes left–then, after that statement, the bomb is shown onscreen with seventeen minutes on the counter, which then changes to ten minutes when the camera goes in for a closer look.

This one’s a little harder to explain, other than to say that this kind of thing is a minor error that’s often not caught in films. The problem? This is a $300 million movie with a ton of scrutiny directed at it, and the “ticking clock” is a major part of the plot throughout the film’s third act, meaning that the kind of simple gaffe anyone could make at any time turns into a problem.

And I’m no physicist, but really: Did anyone buy that we’d know exactly when the core would collapse and explode, down to the second? Remember that we’re not talking about a real bomb here, that’s been set to detonate. It was only ever going to explode because being removed from its housing had made the core unstable. Instability is rarely predictable down to tenths of a second.

What Time is It?

This is a recurring question that people have raised, epitomized by one observation: “The scene in which commissioner Gordon is being sent to death by exile the shot of him from behind walking onto the ice is daytime, the next shot he’s walked two steps and it’s night time.”

That’s not the first or only time I’ve heard someone talk about that particular problem with the film’s timeline. Batman has a similar beat, where suddenly it’s dark without real explanation. It’s a cinema move, I think–Nolan’s films took place almost completely in the dark, and for the last scene of the finale to happen during the day would’nt have fit the look of the trilogy. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t plan ahead a bit, though…!

Ellen Page: Psychotic Man Is Threatening to KILL ME

Ellen Page claims a crazed fan has been terrorizing her on Twitter -- sending her multiple DEATH THREATS -- and now, she's turned to the LAPD for help.

The LAPD recently sent a search warrant -- obtained by TMZ -- to the micro-blogging site, demanding information regarding two Twitter accounts believed to be associated with an individual bent on killing the actress.

According to the warrant, the two accounts sent Ellen multiple threatening messages back in June -- such as, "I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead."

And, "Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in the next year ... Be it in a club, at a game, in a restaurant, or when you're signing autographs."

The tweets have since been removed.

According to the LAPD, the threats also coincided with a creepy telephone call received by the non-profit that organizes the LA Film Festival, where Ellen's new movie "To Rome with Love" premiered on June 14th. The LAPD claims the caller promised to go to the festival and "kill Page."

Obviously that didn't happen -- but the investigation's still ongoing.

And NO they're not actually dating, they just did a movie together and are friends.

One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne has denied rumors that he is about to marry girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

The One Direction singer, 18, attended Rochelle Wiseman and Marvin Humes's wedding last week and was reported to have been thinking about proposing to Danielle.

However, Liam says this is rubbish.

'I'm not getting married the sun newspaper can't seem to wait for me to get married Gordon no need to rush wen I am I'll send u an invite ;),' Tweets Liam.

However, there's no denying that Liam - who met dancer Danielle, 24, on The X Factor in 2010 - is serious about his stunning girlfriend.

He recently revealed that the couple have moved in together: 'I can't have it too messy or she'll have a go at me,' Liam told The Sun.

'We haven't been there long.'

Liam has recently been discussing the fame that comes with being one fifth of one of the biggest boybands ever. He admitted that the group never imagined that they’d become famous outside of the UK after coming third on The X Factor UK, or that they would reach the level of success that they are currently enjoying.

“We never expected any of this at all. We thought that we would do a little bit in the UK after the end of the show,” he said at Radio City.

After scoring the top spot on the medals stand in Thursday's all-around gymnastics competition, Gabrielle "Gabby" Douglas was in good company with the three other American women who achieved the same feat.

Douglas, 16, officially joined the ranks of Nastia Liukin, Carly Patterson and Mary Lou Retton – and posed with her fellow all-around champions following her 62.232-point finish.

"Four generations of champs!" Tweeted Retton, 44, who won gold in the 1984 all-around. (Patterson, 24, won the all-around in 2004, and Liukin, 22, won it in 2008.)

"So proud of you @gabrielledoug," Liukin Tweeted.

Added Patterson: "You are glowing!"

Her fellow Fab Five Team USA gymnasts – McKayla Maroney, Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross and Aly Raisman – were also extending their praise to Douglas, who is the first African-American woman to win gold in the women's all-around. Her victory, after all, came on the heels of their team gold-medal win on Tuesday.

"You are the Olympic all around champion," Wieber wrote to Douglas on Twitter, "and you deserve it girl!"

BBC Commentators Lose Their Shit [off air] Over 10,000m Final ....

This is the moment BBC commentators went wild with excitement as athlete Mo Farah crossed the 10,000m finish line winning another gold for Great Britain.

The behind the scenes footage shows pundits Colin Jackson, Denise Lewis and Michael Johnson literally screaming and jumping for joy as Farah powered home to win the sixth gold medal of the day.

Lewis nearly broke her chair while Jackson held his head in his hands in disbelief at the day's achievements dubbed the greatest night in the history of British athletics.

It was the first time a British man has won in the Olympic 10,000m race.

The euphoria captured the mood of the stadium as the crowd roared home the long-distance runner to victory.

Farah, 29, collapsed to the floor after crossing the line and described the gold-winning race as 'the best moment of my life'.

The Somali-born athlete, who attended Feltham Community College and Isleworth and Syon School in London, then danced for joy around the track before greeting his heavily pregnant wife and daughter who joined him trackside after the dramatic win.

It capped off a fantastic evening for Team GB which won three gold medals in a row in the athletics.

Twilight's Biggest Fan Nuttymadam breaks her silence

0

Why did you start doing YouTube videos?

I started about four years ago. I’d never got into a book as much as I did with Twilight, so I went online and found a huge community of fans. It was amazing so many people cared and I wanted to be part of it. I found out they were making a film so I put together some photographs of the characters with music. The first video was the most basic, cheesy thing. I didn’t even realise I had video editing software on my computer.

Does it make you feel part of the fan community now?

Absolutely. As people watched my videos, I felt accepted by the fans. I now have friends I wouldn’t have had if it wasn’t for Twilight. It’s changed me. I’m more confident and I’ve got a better social life. I go to  premieres and do different things.

What was the appeal of the books?

The love story. The whole thing of ‘she’s a human but, oh no, he’s a vampire’. I know it’s cheesy but I love it.

Your previous videos got attention on gossip websites – what did that feel like?

Perez Hilton first tweeted one of my videos in 2009 and it was on a TV show a  couple of days later. It was a shock.

Do you enjoy the attention?

Yes, I love Twilight and I’ll never stop defending it. It’s a buzz to know that I’m part of it now in some way. People have said I’ve inspired them to do their own videos, which is great. I’m just myself in the videos – sometimes I’ll swear or be an idiot or a bit over the top, the  opposite of how I am at work, but it’s quite liberating. If people see me like that maybe it reassures them that they’re not so strange after all.

You seem quite upset in this current video – why?

I thought the story about Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson wasn’t true. But then, just before doing the video, I got an email from a friend about the statement Kristen had released. That was when I realised she’d really done it. I was angry and upset – why would you cheat on Robert Pattinson? I couldn’t understand it.

Why are you so invested in it?

I feel protective and that I should stand up for them. People were making  accusations and jumping to conclusions, which bothered me to the point where I thought I had to get involved.

In hindsight, do you think you went over the top?

No. I wouldn’t say something in my videos I wouldn’t say to the person to their face.

What do your work colleagues think of it?

My boss isn’t massively keen. He knew about the videos when he hired me. He doesn’t judge me but he’s not interested in Twilight.

What about your friends and family?

I have friends who aren’t  Twilight fans and it doesn’t get in the way. I know they’ll accept me, no matter what people say about me online.

You’ve received thousands of abusive comments over this video – do you read them?

I’ll look at some of them. People say horrible things and make fun of me because I’m big or different but I don’t mind – they’re still watching the video and putting it on their Facebook and listening to what I have to say.

Does knowing you’ll get more views encourage you to make more extreme videos?

It encourages me to be myself and if that annoys people, that’s fine. Some might say: ‘You’re such a bad actress’, or call me a whale – I just think: ‘Is that the best you can do?’ Putting a nasty comment on someone’s YouTube page?

There are so many of them, though.

I got a bit down at first but now I’m honestly not bothered. I was picked on at school and it taught me the importance of ignoring stuff like that. If I didn’t have that attitude, then I wouldn’t do videos in the first place.

What was meeting Robert Pattinson like?

It was at a premiere. He was on the red carpet and someone pointed me out. He said: ‘Video girl’ and gave me a hug and was really nice. I was blown away. I remember thinking it wouldn’t get better than that but it has. I didn’t think there’d be this much interest in a four-minute video of me crying over someone cheating when I don’t even know them. It’s baffling.

Are you misunderstood?

Some people think I earn thousands of pounds from the videos and that I’m acting and just pretend to love Twilight, which isn’t true. It’s real. I’ve spent thousands of pounds on going to conventions and being part of the Twilight community. It’s a huge part of my life.

The films are coming to an end – how will you cope?

I don’t know. It’s like a bereavement. It all stops soon, which is kind of what got to me about the Rob and Kristen thing – they’re ending, the films are ending, the conventions are ending, no more books. It’s nice I’ve been part of it but it’s devastating.

Michelle Williams is thinking about flower arranging during her break from movies.

The Oscar-nominated actress has decided to take some time away from her hectic career. Michelle has been busy working on a host of movies including Take This Waltz, My Week with Marilyn and Oz: The Great and Powerful. She is looking forward to spending some quality time with her daughter Matilda and learning new skills.

"Taking time off," she told Empire magazine when asked about her upcoming plans. "I don't know what I'll do. Live life. Take a flower-arranging class. I might figure out Netflix."

Michelle is currently promoting Take This Waltz, which also stars Seth Rogen. Although the movie focuses on a marriage in crisis, Michelle had great fun while filming certain sequences.

"There's a funny scene with aerobics. It was like a dance party for grown-ups at 3pm. It was a delight to read that scene and relate to it. Whenever I've done exercise in a group class I've enjoyed it so much it makes me giddy with laughter," she explained. "Sarah [Polley, director] said to me, 'You have a talent for laughing the way people do for crying.' It's not like I have a surplus of laughter that wants to get out, but things get me easily."

Michelle often struggles to keep a straight face. While making Blue Valentine with Ryan Gosling, the pair delayed shooting with their laughing fits.

"Yes. It's a real problem for me," she added. "Once on Blue Valentine, Ryan and I couldn't stop laughing for three hours. In the end we gave up. We couldn't function."

Michelle Williams prefers beau Jason Segel on the cuddly side

Michelle Williams apparently loves her boyfriend Jason Segel with a little extra meat on his bones.

The couple have been dating for a few months now and the 32-year-old actor has bonded with Michelle's six-year-old daughter Matilda.

Jason had to lose some weight for his recent movie The Five-Year Engagement, but since its release he's packed it all back on.

"He was asked to lose weight to participate in the film, but now that he's settling down with Michelle Williams, he has totally let it all go," an insider said.

"It looks like he gained 20 pounds, but Michelle thinks he looks perfect the way he is. He eats whatever he wants."

Although his physique is changing, Jason's ladylove is apparently not concerned in the slightest. In fact, she likes it.

"She likes his body," the source said. "She thinks he's cuddly."

Unlike her beau Michelle is very strict about her diet regimen to maintain her petite frame and exercises almost daily.
