    • Music festivals are the ~inspiration~ apparently.

    • "The collection has absolutely no connection to nor was it inspired by the Native American cultures." -MAC spokesperson.

Tiny Canadian songtress, Carly Rae Jepsen, is currently in the middle of her 29-day Canadian tour (where Hedley is closing for her), and decided to take some time off today to answer some of your burning questions in a Q&A hosted by Ottawa radio station, Jump 106.9

She talks about hoping to work with Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff soon, shooting her next music video, releasing left-over songs from E•MO•TION, her hair, and possibly touring in Europe.

Here's a summary of the questions asked:

Don't have a screen cap for this one, but when someone complimented on her hair, Carly said she was bored of her [long] hair and wanted to change it up.

In March, North Carolina was the first state to ban transgender people from using public restrooms of their choice.
A similar law in Mississippi, allows employers to cite religion when it comes to policies on bathroom access and dress codes. Both of the measures have sparked debate on the privacy and safety of both transgender and non-transgender patrons of public and work restrooms.

"We all want safety and privacy in public bathrooms," Caitlyn says. "But these anti-LGBT bills, like the ones in North Carolina and Mississippi, actually make us less safe, not more safe. They open the door to abuse, aggressive and confrontational behavior in bathrooms, and encourage strangers to demand that women and girls prove that they are actually female in order to use the restroom. No one wants that."

According to Dread Central the remake of It, which sadly no longer involves Cary Fukunaga, now has an official release date.

The film - which has yet to be cast and will film sometime over the summer - is set to release on September 8, 2017.

The remake is now being directed by Mama's Andrés Muschietti and written by the guy who wrote Annabelle.

I actually think the limitations of what could be shown on television actually helped the mini-series be more effective and frightening.

The New York Daily News is currently reporting that Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic pathologist portrayed by Will Smith in Concussion, has reached out to Chyna's management about obtaining her brain for research. The former wrestler had previously spoken to the doctor about his research and the effects that wrestling had on her body.

Her manager has stated that he is trying to make arrangements with her family so that her brain is donated to Omalu's research. While her manager claims that Chyna did not mention experiences concussions during her years with the WWE she is still an "interesting" candidate for the study in part because of her history with domestic violence.

At the time of her death Chyna was making a documentary called The Reconstruction of Chyna where she was "exploring deep emotional issues". Her manager also went on to say that they will continue filming and include the investigation into her death because he believes it's what she would have wanted.

They are also currently planning a public memorial for her fans and working with her estranged family for her wish to be cremated.

Designer Rachel Roy, who had been previously speculated as being the catalyst for the incident between Solange and Jay Z in the elevator in 2014 as seen here:

has made her Instagram private this morning after enduring comments ranging from passive aggressive bee and/or lemon emoji spam to direct insults. Some have gone so far as to go to her daughter's page attacking both of them.

This comes after Rachel Roy posted a photo shortly after the release of Beyonce's new album, Lemonade that was broadcasted on HBO last night in a long form multi music video/documentary format. In the caption she references her "Good hair".

In track 4 of Lemonade titled "Sorry" some of the lyrics are as follows:

“Wave it in his face, tell him, boy, bye. Tell him, boy, bye, middle fingers up. I ain’t thinking ‘bout you.He better call Becky with the good hair.”

As of the time of this writing, someone has edited Roy's Wikipedia page as seen here with a reference to Lemonade:
Courtesy of ONTD member xoxobliss who has written the following:

Rachel Roy used to be married to Dame Dash (co-founder of Roc-A-Fella). Dame Dash and Jay both were the cofounders of Roc-A-Fella, they both had a very public falling out.
Rachel was rumored to be the reason why Solange beat Jay in the elevator that night at the MET Gala. Solange was reported to have been screaming at her before the elevator incident happened.
After the video leaked, Roy went on Twitter quoting lyrics to Jay’s song “Beach Is Better”

Beyonce didn’t stay quiet either. She threw low key shots at Roy when she posed for IG pictures rocking an Aaliyah sweater after the MET Gala. Important Note: Dame was fucking with Aaliyah while he was with Rachel.

Also important to note, Rachel is close friends with Kim K. Perhaps Bey and Jay didn’t attend the Kanye and Kim wedding because they knew Rachel would be in attendance?
