Ken Kratz claims he's received 3,000 death threats due to 'Making a Murderer'
Kratz claims that while he has no problem with people questioning cases and looking into the criminal justice system he believes that viewers of Making a Murderer have gone too far. According to Kratz he has received almost 3,000 emails of which "most are insulting in nature". He claims that several of them have made death threats against his family and threatening to rape his daughter.
He then goes on to talk about how a package that was sent to the office exploded only to then be like oh well it was actually a glitter bomb. The glitter bomb allegedly caused "significant damage to [their] office equipment". Kratz finds it disturbing that people are attacking him personally and doesn't seem to understand why they would do this.
Nancy Grace, who said the evidence against Avery was overwhelming and doesn't seem to understand that the real issue is actually the criminal justice system, got on her high horse and asked "Is Netflix going to make a documentary about this?" A ten part docu-series about a glitter bomb sounds totally reasonable after all.
Interestingly enough, Grace is so busy condemning viewers and insisting that the convictions shouldn't be overturned she doesn't seem to care that Kratz abused his position of power to sexually harass and take advantage of domestic abuse victims. Glitter is the real offensive thing in this situation.

LITERAL Queen of everything that is good and true in this world, Jennifer López, continues to prove haters and #Love?rs alike that she remains an A list actor by giving NBC their most watch Thursday debut in 7 years. Shades of Blue, which marks the first primetime show lead by a Puerto Rican since Jennifer's old series Hotel Malibu in 1994, was watched by over 8 million people last night. The pilot was directed by acclaimed Barry Levinson who is also an executive producer along with the leading star and Ryan Secreast.

J.J. Abrams: Lack of Rey Toys "Preposterous and Wrong", and talks "Going Backwards to Go Forwards".
Regarding recent uproar and outcry about True Galactic Badass Queen Rey [No Last Name At Present](19, formerly of Jakku) being left out of toys and monopoly game sets, director J.J. Abrams addressed the viral #WheresRey hashtag controversy during a TCA panel.
Lack of female representation in toys is nothing new, even for mega blockbuster action leads.
Good news though, J.J. Abrams has proven himself aligned with the Light Side of the Force, and will not in this instance need his ass handed to him in the style of a certain Wannabe Sith Cry Baby Villain with grandfather issues.
According to EW, as reported by ONTD approved source Vanity Fair, during the Television Critic's Association press tour last Saturday, J.J. called the lack of plastic representation for Queen Rey "PREPOSTEROUS!", going on to further state that it is "preposterous and wrong that the main character of the movie is not well represented in what is clearly a huge piece of the Star Wars world."
He also dragged Hasbro's mediocre response to criticism about their Rey-less Monopoly set, stating that when he found out about the omission of film lead Rey (played by ONTD Sweetheart Daisy Ridley), he immediately picked up the phone about it and got to yelling.
"I read that she wasn’t in the Monopoly game and was quickly making phone calls about this, because if it were true—and it is true, and now Hasbro, of course, has said they’re going to put Rey in—it doesn’t quite make sense why she wouldn’t be there."

In other J.J. Abrams news, he also recently addressed criticisms about ONTD Best Film 2015 Award Nominee'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' re-using old plot, last seen in 1977 Carrie Fisher powerhouse 'Star Wars: A New Hope'.
Abrams defended the current James Cameron de-throner against criticism that TFA has similar plot and structure to ANH, saying he understands why some people might call it a "rip-off", and was prepared for some fans to take issue, but that the similarities were important to tell the story.
J.J. reiterated how important it was for him to "introduce brand new characters using relationships that were embracing the history to tell a story that is new - to go backwards to go forwards."
"We inherited Star Wars. The story of history repeating itself was, I believe, an obvious and intentional thing, and the structure of meeting a character who comes from a nowhere desert and discovers that she has a power within her, where the bad guys have a weapon that is destructive but that ends up being destroyed – those simple tenets are by far the least important aspects of this movie, and they provide bones that were well-proven long before they were used in Star Wars."

Ellen Page Confronted a Homophobic Cop Who Bragged About Murdering Gay People
Ellen Page recently filmed a documentary series called Gaycation in which she travels the world, exploring gay culture and learning about LGBTQ issues.
In Brazil, Page came face to face with a cop who has bragged about murdering gay people. She talks about that scary moment and what it felt like for her:
--Was very nervous to talk to him
--Says it was a very scary moment to confront him
--The homophobic cop said that he has killed "people like her," will do it again, and that there are lots of other people who will kill homosexuals.
Fortunately, she was okay and continues to advocate for LGBTQ rights.
In another segment of her show, Page confronts homophobic pile of mashed potatoes Ted Cruz at a political rally.
Gaycation will air on Viceland, likely in February.
