Golfer To Get Rid of Confederate Flag on Original Dukes of Hazzard Car
- Bubba Watson bought the car at auction in 2012.
- Will be painting over the Confederate flag with an American one, tweeting: "All men ARE created equal, I believe that so I will be painting the American flag over the roof of the General Lee #USA"
- He originally wanted to drive it at a Nascar event back in 2012 but even back then Nascar didn't want to endorse a car with the Confederate flag on it. Back then he responded, "Obviously, I don’t stand for the Confederate flag. The Confederate flag was not used for what people see it as today, so that’s sad. But NASCAR was built on moonshining, so the show was built on moonshining. I thought it was fun. I didn’t buy the car to get publicity; I bought it because I love it.”

WHAT TO LOVE
1. A Clever First Half
From the opening with the war starting to Kyle Reese meeting the T-1000 in 1984, there are a lot of fun twists to the first films we love so much. Seeing Kyle and John's friendship and knowing what John has to do. Kyle stealing the homeless man's clothes. Those Nikes :3

Basically, he's easily the funniest part of the film. A conspiracy theorists who gets laughed at but ultimately gets the last laugh. Simmons is signed on for the sequels so fingers crossed.

2. The Wasting of Byung-hun Lee and Jason Clarke
So basically, Byung-hun Lee is basically just there to chase Kyle and say one line. He was cool looking and pretty scary (and looked and moved like exactly like Robert Patrick. It was freaky) but only in it for five minutes. Hopefully there will be an explanation as to why a T-1000 was sent back to 1984. Jason Clarke is one of the few strongest points of the film but outside of his scenes with Kyle and the garage scene, he's not given much to do aside from being menacing and unstoppable. But we still don't know much about adult John. Hopefully the sequel gives us more.

5. Set-Up For a Sequel That May Never Happen
Speaking of sequels: there were way too many plot points left dangling for a franchise that may never get another chance. I'm hoping it does because those plot points can be interesting and fun and different than what we are used to with the original franchise but idk. With Jurassic world still dominating and Magic Mike getting the female audience and a kids film all out at the same time it's hard to tell :(
But you got Matt Smith's character who needs explanation, who sent back the Guardian to save bb Sarah, who sent back the liquid Terminator years earlier than T2, what happens to John, what's up with Skynet and it's ability to never ever die. Danny Dyson shout outs <3. Skynet still evolving. That damn after credits scene. Will John even be born?

the critics are way harsh with this film. it's definitely way better than 3 and 4, a lot of fun, and the actors fit the roles well. yes, even Jai.
the only thing I didn't like was them not even trying to save John Connor. I didn't spend 4 movies and a tv show to have him be ~evil and not try to be saved by Sarah.
