According to the website, Project Casting, the new title is called "Hush."

The change comes at no surprise as the series does not include the infamous Ghostface mask nor any characters from the Scream film series.

Sypnosis: The new MTV series centers around a a YouTube video going viral that soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.

Project Casting is also sending out an open casting call for the show in New Orleans:

“Hush” – New MTV Scripted Series based on the Scream Trilogy. This will be shooting in and around the Baton Rouge area starting in April through July.

We specifically need 18 years old and over Men & Women to portray High School students, various ages for teachers and police.

For more information on the open casting call see Source.

The new MTV show will air in October.

Sony has acquired the rights to the 80s anime Robotech and is moving quickly to produce a live-action feature. Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton, who made the "300" films and "The Immortals," are set to produce. Michael Gordon, who wrote "300" and "GI Joe" is set to write.

This project has been in the works for quite some time as it was previously with Warner Brothers with actor Tobey Maguire and Akiva Goldsman set to produce the film.

Read the incredibly stupid article here @ the Source.
Picture screencapped from my tumblr. I refuse to screencap the stupidity from the article though.

  • 03/26/15--11:27: Liam speaks on Zayn leaving

  • In light of recent events I think this is important to say.
For the past five years now I’ve been part of something so special I don’t think any of us really understand, something that can mean the world to people and put a smile on the face of our fans even in the darkest times. To a lot of people it’s just a bunch of silly kids in a band but to the people involved it means so much more. This last week has been some of the worst times, possibly the worst it’s something we are all deeply saddened by. It’s sad to think for the time being we won’t grace the stage as five bros or have the same fun on a tour bus or laughs in a hotel together that we have over the years but I’m super sure us and zayn will always remain the closest friends. I guess what I’m really trying to say is it’s far from over. When we very 1st became successful we all agreed that one direction had become much bigger than each individual member that’s why I feel like right now it’s ok to be sad and upset but I do ask everyone who is a fan of us to please keep ur faith in us I’m sure there’s a lot more to come all love

On whether she's a Kate or a Brooke:
“Kate Moss I guess. She’s someone I’ve always looked up to.”

On how she feels about the campaign:
“I’m honored to be a part of it, honestly. It’s iconic. It’s [a campaign] I would have seen all over and thought how cool it would be to be a part of.”

On having fun with the shoot:
“I mean the whole day was rainy. When it rains, I have good energy, I’m in a good mood.”

On whether she thinks being photographed by the paparazzi has helped her modeling:
“Paparazzi pictures? No, those definitely did not help. Do the paparazzi help anything? But being in front of the camera, yes; building your own self-confidence.”

On if she ever hates how she looks in pap photos:
“Yeah, don’t we all do that? See pictures of ourselves and be like, I did not look like that in person. I swear I didn’t look like that.”

On her most embarrassing demin phase:
“My rainbow-colored jeans. I had a red pair, a blue pair, a yellow pair, a turquoise pair . . . literally every color of the rainbow. It wasn’t cute. Go look at pictures.”

On how she likes her denim best:
“For me personally, I think high-waisted or midi-rise always works. Something that’s tight around my butt and lifts it.”

Does she have any tips on how to take good belfies?
“I’ve never heard of belfie, but I’ve definitely taken a couple of butt selfies. You gotta know your own angles. And maybe [shoot it from] the side, so you can make your butt look all cute.”

    • Zayn's departure means that all that's left are four "goofy white boys" with varying degrees of talent.

    • Zayn was the most beautiful (the author waxes lyrical about this - I thought I was reading the description of a moody YA novel love interest)

    • Zayn's voice was the one that lent them the distinctive edge (one could argue that Louis' caterwauling is also distinctive), he was vocally agile and there's a reason why the audience is going to have to deliver his You & I ad libs until they do the sensible thing and cut it off the set list.

    • The others are all mayo, cauliflower, stale bread, other variations of bland now that he's gone.

The former Jonas Brother and current gay icon told Entertainment Tonight:

“It’s a lot of pressure. I think that my situation was really unique, I had family with me. I feel like it is a tough world already, and I was thankful to have family and walk through it with them, but it’s all about how you balance it, and trying to implement a few moments of normalcy and quietness in a really crazy ride.”

    He added:

“I feel for the fans, and totally understand fame as well and what he’s going through, but all the best to all of them.”

p/s mods, please ignore the other post as I only noticed a few errors after submitting. Sorry for the trouble

Shortly after the news of Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction hits online, some troll edited their Wiki page and added Ryan Ross (former member of Panic! at the Disco) to the list of the group members. This led to confusion among Directioners as those who are too young to remember the group asked, "Who is Ryan Ross?"

Affleck was accompanied by his wife Jennifer Garner and their eldest daughter, Violet

Ben Affleck testified before a hearing of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Diplomacy and National Security in Washington D.C. on Thursday.

With wife Jennifer Garner and their young daughter, Violet, sitting behind him, Affleck, the founder of the Eastern Congo Initiative, discussed the importance of non-military U.S. aid to eastern Congo.

According to the New York Daily News, he was "knowledgeable and pragmatic ... Especially during the question period, Affleck was impressive as he mixed a nuanced and self-deprecating take of the economics, politics, religion and even criminal behavioral patterns of a complex region with a seemingly realistic analysis of the potency of "soft power."
